Overview of the webinar

The course will focus on all aspects of technical, compliance and management system auditing. This includes:
  • The preparation, timing, the questions to be developed and needed by the auditors, the interview, file review and site walk through by the auditors. 
  • Critical to any audit is the final report. This training will address how to prepare the final report such that sensitive information, e.g. non-compliance situations is presented in a manner that does not place the location being audited in a vulnerable position.
  • This session will take the fear out of auditing. It will also remove the, “Got you” from the audit process. Those auditing and those being audited must work together, to find and solve issues. There will be a discussion on how to follow up on the response to the audit findings.

Faculty - Mr.Vince Marchesani

Vince Marchesani is the President and CEO of Environmental, Health and Safety International LLC. Vince Marchesani has held the position of VP, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) at Basell (retired). He has 30+ years of profound experience in the chemical industry and has worked for 11 years in government writing environmental regulations. His educational qualifications include BS and MS degrees from Drexel University and a PhD degree from Rutgers University. 
Mr. Marchesani holds 5 copyrights in the area of EHS management. Mr. Marchesani apart from developing EHS performance improvement and crisis management systems has also published numerous papers on EHS topics and a co-authored book on air pollution management. Of late he has published a book titled, "The Fundamentals of Crisis Management." 
Being a multi-talented professional Vince Marchesani has chaired numerous committees at the American Chemistry Council, and the Society for Plastic Industries in Washington DC and has been instrumental in the design and implementation of EHS governance, management and leadership systems.
