Overview of the webinar
Excel Expert David Ringstrom, CPA, believes that every Excel user should be familiar with lookup functions, such as VLOOKUP. These powerful, time-saving functions enable you to find the specific information you’re looking for—pay rates, item prices, accounting results, etc.—thereby eliminating the need for you to manually link to specific cells. David introduces the VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP functions and provides context on when you're likely use them. He also demonstrates troubleshooting techniques and prepares you to deal with subtle issues that can prevent lookup formulas from working properly.
David demonstrates every technique at least twice: first, on a PowerPoint slide with numbered steps and second, in Excel 2016. He draws to your attention any differences in Excel 2013, 2010 or 2007 during the presentation as well as in his detailed handouts. David also provides an Excel workbook that includes most of the examples he uses during the webcast.

Acclaimed Microsoft Excel expert David H. Ringstrom, CPA, is the president and owner of Accounting Advisors, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia.
