During the webinar, participants will gain an understanding as to why this voluntary program has increased in popularity, the benefits employers have experienced having employees participate in it and how to watch for scams pertaining to this program. The webinar will focus on specific training for workers new to the workforce compared to the training for experienced workers. We will show what the OSHA participation card looks like for participants who take the program and the benefits the OSHA card has for both employer and employee.

Why should you attend?

Consider this- there are two sides to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). One side deals directly ensuring employers are compliant with the myriad of regulatory compliance topics through the use of Compliance Safety and Health Officers (CSHOs). The another side of OSHA is voluntary outreach.
  • Did you know that OSHA has had a voluntary training program for employers to consider when training employees on hazard identification, avoidance, abatement and prevention?
  • Would you consider utilizing this program if it meant that it could reduce the cost of citations?
  • Would you take advantage of this program if it would enhance your safety culture and reduce workers’ compensation costs and OSHA log entries?
This webinar will focus on what the outreach program is, how it can be implemented in your workplace and the benefits of the voluntary program.
