Why should you attend?

According to OSHA, “While the extent of responsibility under the law of staffing agencies and host employers is dependent on the specific facts of each case, staffing agencies and host employers are jointly responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for temporary workers- including, for example, ensuring that OSHA's training, hazard communication and recordkeeping requirements are fulfilled”.
Under the TWI (Temporary Worker Initiative), OSHA has instructed its Compliance Safety & Health Officers (CSHOs) to ask employers during all inspections about whether temporary workers are employed at the work site. If they are, the inspection will focus on the myriad of regulatory compliance issues presented by using temporary workers.
This webinar will address OSHA’s initiative focusing on safety and health compliance for temporary workers.
