In his State of the Union Remarks in 2015, one of the legislative goals mentioned by President Obama was the passage of a national law mandating some form of paid sick leave for employees.  While such is not the law nationally yet, many states and local governments have enacted laws requiring that paid sick leave must be provided to employees in those various states and municipalities.  In this seminar, you will learn about the laws that now exist in this area, and obtain knowledge for ensuing compliance with such laws through the implementation of appropriate polices and best employer practices.
